Will vehicles with exceptional loads be authorised to use the motorway now that there are no toll gates?
Removing the toll gates does not mean that there is any deviation from the regulations set out in the Order of 4 May 2006 regarding exceptional loads.
So there will be no change affecting the movement of these exceptional-load convoys on the A13 and A14 after they become free-flow motorways.
