To avoid fatigue at the wheel, treat yourself to a relaxing break. The La Talmouse rest area is open, day and night, to all travellers on the A4 motorway, leading to the capital from Strasbourg.
The environment is pleasant to get back in touch with nature and forget the traffic of the motorway. Take a few steps to stretch your legs. Then sit down at one of the picnic tables to eat your delicious snacks.
Once you have recovered, continue your journey and discover the sights of the nearby areas. Within a 6 minute drive to Belleau, you can visit the Bois de Belleau Park and see the Cimetière américain du bois Belleau, or the Musée de la Mémoire de Belleau 1914-1918. These sites are full of interesting stories from the First World War.
