When travelling on the A1 motorway from the capital towards Lille, take a picnic break at the area of Chevrières. This relaxation area is located between the Roberval-Est and Remy areas, about 60 km from Paris. Its services, car park, toilets, disabled access, picnic tables, playground and relaxation area welcome you at any time of the day or night. A discovery trail dedicated to the biodiversity of the Oise valley will also enhance your break on this area.

Continuing the journey, a visit to the Parc de la Brèche is a must. This is located a few minutes from the area of Chevrières, in the commune of Villers-Saint-Paul. It is a very lively place, where children can play freely. Tables are set up by the river and barbecues are available free of charge. In the summer months, rides on a small steam or electric train are available.
