Starting from december 10th 2024, the A13 of the Paris-Normandy motorways, will switch to free-flow tolling. No more toll barriers : first, you complete your trip without interruption on the motorway and then, once at your destination, you will have to pay on sanef.com within a maximum of 72h after your trip.
🔍 What is a free-flow motorway ?

With the free-flow toll motorway :
1️⃣ You drive to your destination without interruption.
No more toll barriers ! Gantries equipped with cameras and sensors positioned above the lanes identify :
-
Your vehicle by its number plate or your electronic toll tag.
-
The category of your vehicle (car, trucks, motorbikes, etc.).
Based on this information, the computer system calculates the toll for your journey, which you will have to pay in the end.
2️⃣ Once you’re arrived at destination, goes to sanef.com to pay your tolls within 72 hours after your trip.
Like the A14 motorway, west of Paris, it is now the turn of the A13 motorway to switch to free-flow tolling from december 10th 2024.
💳 So, how do you pay your free-flow toll ?
Starting from december 10th 2024, to pay your free-flow tolls on the A13 motorway, you can choose between 3 solutions :
▶ The toll payment tag : if you are an toll payment tag subscriber, nothing changes. Your passage is automatically detected by the gantries and debited, without any action on your part.
▶ Online at sanef.com : within 72 hours after each journey. If you're worried about forgetting to pay your tolls, you can create a free customer account on this same web site to activate :
- The automatic payment : by recording your number plate and credit card
- Or the service of notification of « toll to be paid » : sent after you drove on this motorway, again indicating your number plate
▶ At a tobacconist in the Nirio network : again within 72 hours of your journey. All you have to do is give your vehicle registration number to the Nirio dealer and pay by credit card or in cash.
