When are my tolls charged for using the free-flow system?
Do you have a Sanef customer account or an electronic toll tag? Here are the payment options depending on your situation for paying for your tolls in the free-flow system: frequency, deadline, automatic payment…
1. You have a Sanef customer account and have opted for automatic payment
- Payments are made daily, and will be processed the day after you pass through the free-flow toll plaza.
- If you make several trips in the same day, all trips will be charged at once.
2. You have an electronic toll collection tag (Liber-t Bip & Go tag or equivalent)
- Nothing changes! As everywhere else on the motorway network, thanks to your Liber-t electronic toll collection tag, the amounts corresponding to journeys made on toll motorways with free-flowing traffic are debited the following month.
3. If you have neither a badge nor have linked your bank card to your customer account
- You have 72 hours after your trip to pay for your journey, either on sanef.com or at one of the tobacconists in the Nirio network.
- Provide your vehicle registration number, then pay the amount due.
- After this period, a surcharge of €10, then €90, will be applied to the amount due.
In summary, how often am I charged?
- In automatic mode without an electronic toll tag: every day for the previous day's passages.
- With an electronic toll collection tag: once a month.
What if I don't pay within 72 hours?
